Background:
Barmston Village Primary was formed after an amalgamation in September 1994. Extra curricular activities include football, netball, choir and homework clubs. Children are encouraged to raise money for a number of charities particularly Macmillan nurses, children in need and the yellow brick road. The school is involved in 'Creative Partnership' to improve and develop learning opportunities for children through the environment. The school has a friendly and courteous atmosphere and children have a high regard for mutual respect.
