Background:
Forest Hall is a residential suburb on the outskirts of Newcastle. The area is referred to as The Village harking back to its original status at the turn of the century. The school had major work in 2002 and now works in a bright and pleasant building. There is a purpose-built nursery with its own small surrounding area with a rubberised safety play space. The main school has a purpose-built computer room. There are also changing rooms and showers as well as an activity room for play activities for the younger children. Outdoor facilities includes two play yards, a wildlife garden with a small pond, a lawn and playing fields. A wide range of extra-curricular activities are offered at the lunchtime and after-school. These activities include football, rounders, cross-country and athletics. The school aims to provide a welcoming, safe and secure environment.
